Profoundly influenced by nature‚Äôs ways,

Sheriden is a contemporary weaver creating

signature collections of uniquely woven and bold

coloured pieces inspired by the river and ocean landscape.

Producing pieces out of her workshop on the east

coast of Australia, Bird is a patient and passionate maker,

weaving for art and cultural purpose.

One off pieces created using raffia, flax from New Zealand and Lomandra grasses. Dried grasses are dyed using natural materials and then hand woven by the artist to produce each completely unique sculpture.
